	Location Notes: Creek expsoed for the first July in 2 years; after historic floodwaters dominated the landscape spring/summer 2007. The stream is wholly different than in 2006. Where there was a soft mud bottom, there now is several thousand tons of granite boulders and finer rock sediments making up the substrate. Aquatic vegetation is wholly absent for hundreds of meters where before it was prolific. The shoreline was scoured to the point of small patches of 15-20 trees were wholly destroyed and removed. A small heavily shaded swampy backwater that had attracted several Libellula in Aug 2006, is now a side tributary 40 ft wide and filled in with rock debris (so much so as to allow vehicle traffic).This scene is repeated across at least a half dozen major streams draining Comanche County alone. Specimen Notes: single individual; noted 2 weeks earlier here; this is only the 2nd location for the species in sw. Oklahoma, albeit the same drainage ... several miles upstream from the first location. Decision Notes: None entered

	Location Notes: Private lake with boat access; eastern deciduous woodland around most of the shoreline; sw arm provides for protection from strong southerly breezes and sees relatively little public traffic. Causeway-like structure separates private backwater; this was acessible in Oct 07 providing for several interesting records, but fenced with barbed wire in by July 08. Possibilities diminished but photo opportuntiies remain and the site is quickly accessed. Specimen Notes: at least 5 ad. males present; only previously known from 3 other sites in sw. OK and then only as singles; this suggests the species may be of more regular ocurrence farther west than suspected. Decision Notes: None entered

	Location Notes: obscure minor creek crossing ... a minor tributary of Rush Creek; holding little water under DENSE shaded canopy forest; both Lousiana Waterthrush and Barred Owl present at time of collection ... both strong indicator species for dense, mature wet woodland. Access of minor dirt road requires climbing down embankment to a 3 meter pool on either side of the road before stream obstructed by fence line. Yet here were some real gems that included several species unexpected for the habitat. Black Saddlebags, 25 Widow Skimmers, Common Pondhawk, Common Whitetail, and Prince Baskettail among those not entered here. Specimen Notes: First of the season in sw.
