	Location Notes: West Range, Fort Sill M.R., Comanche County, OK. Specifically, that portion of Blue Beaver Creek crossing at the jct. of Blue Beaver Valley and LETRA roads. Specimen Notes: Blue Beaver Creek is a locally significant drainage of the eastern extension of the Wichita Mtns. It is an intermittent stream prone to flooding. On the date of observation, the region had been in one of the most extreme droughts records since the 1930s'. July proved to be the 2nd warmest for the state of Oklahoma (1936 and 1934 being one and three). At the specific site of the observation, there remained one of only 3 known pools along a 6 mile length being surveyed for riparian birds. It was the longest and deepest (roughly 20 meters long and 1 meter deep). The creek is heavily shaded along its length on Fort Sill with an oak and cottonwood eastern forest mix. Barred owls, Louisiana Waterthrushes, and Red-shouldered Hawks extend there range west here. The individual photographed was first found the day before and a poor image obtained. On the day of the photographed presented here, it was late evening, sun having set behind the mtns. The individual was content to remain just downstream of the main pool where the area was rapidly drying out. It allow close approach (1m), but was not lethargic and could disappear quickly at any closing of the distance.In the immediate vicinity were Blue Dashers, Slaty Skimmers, and Vesper Bluets. 	Location Notes: EOD site, West Range, Fort Sill M.R., Comanche County, OK. Specifically, a side ravine of the main canyon above the first narrows from the explosive ordinance demolition site. Specimen Notes: Shortly after noon in 103 deg F heat, sighted specimen cruising back and forth along 30 meter length of a drainage punctuated by a series of rock pools. Pools were up to a foot deep with gravely mud bottoms ... enough to attract crayfish. Drainage was narrow (up to 3 meters wide) with 3-5 meter high rock walls. Pool size where photographed was roughly 2 meters wide by 3 in length. This was the lone individual seen. This box canyon, off limits to the public but for my one day a year inspection of Black-capped Vireo territories, is an especially arid and rocky portion of the Wichita Mtns. The avifauna is more western in character with an abundance of Rock Wrens and the occasional Lesser Goldfinch and territorial Swainson's Hawk. A Great Spreadwing and Dusky Dancer were identified (photos) at this same rock pool. Decision Notes: None entered

	Location Notes: Medicine Creek at Natural Resources Office, Fort Sill M.R., Comanche County, OK. Specifically, 50 meters downstream from the dam at the Natural Resources Office. Specimen Notes: I am submitting this record as the species presently does not appear on the checklist for Comanche County. However, it was collected at three sites during a recent 2002-04 survey of aquatic insects of Fort Sill jointly by USGS and Colorado State. I'll send along the pdf. With regard to this individual, it was found alight on a leaf of a tree branch overhanging the creek (the only creek with running water in the county this season). This was the only one of the species seen in an impromptu survey of Wichita Mtns odes in August. Decision Notes: None entered

	Location Notes: West Range, Fort Sill M.R., Comanche Co., OK. Specifically, where Medicine Creek flows over the N. Boundary Rd. Specimen Notes: As with the Black-shouldered Spiny-leg, this species is among several listed within Zuellig et al. 2006. for Fort Sill. Once verified, presumably those specimen records take priority over subsequent reports. I submit this only to bring attention to that work. The site for this individual is 2 km downstream from the effluent for Lake Lawtonka, the principal water source for Lawton. A state fish hatchery borders within 50 meters. Water flow, despite extreme drought in the greater region, was relatively swift. Banks are thickly lined with grasses and partially shaded. This individual was found well within the shaded vegetation a few centimeters off the water. This was a very productive site for Odes with Four-striped Leaftail, Eastern Ringtail, Powdered Dancers, American Rubyspot, and Swift Setwing found and photographed within a half hour. 	Location Notes: Springville Marsh State Nature Preserve ... southwesternmost corner of county. Specimen Notes: Springville Marsh SNP is a postage stamp sized remnant of a much larger wet prairie that extended into adjoining Wyandot and Hancock Counties. What remains is under threat from further drainage and barely maintains its community of sedges and cattails with a sprinkling of willows. A mist-netting operation run by Tom Bartlett for migratory birds has been in place here for 25 years. A now retired highschool biology teacher, Tom is a well-versed naturalist and expert ornithologist. Apparently, all these decades a darner was prone to get caught in the nets in Sep. After several captures and releases in shaded woods at the edge of the marsh, the individual submitted here was photographed. Also submitted to the Ohio Odonata Survey. Decision Notes: None entered

	Location Notes: Lake Boyer City Park near Walters Specimen Notes: lake itself is fairly uattractive with little emergent vegetation. But the two cattail-lined settling ponds near the entrance to the park were fairly productive on a windy, overcast day. In addition to the Blue Dasher, Variagated Meadowhawks, a Common Green Darner, Familiar Bluets, a Black Saddlebags, and an unknown Gomphid were present. Decision Notes: None entered

	Location Notes: Lake Helen, Elmer Thomas City Park, Lawton, Ok. Specimen Notes: Seen the day before for the first time in this county. FOS was in adjacent Tillman Co. 16 Jun. Located and photographed 27 June. Six to 8 individuals present. Although this city park has a shoreline mostly of rip-rap or otherwise maintained for recreation, a small portion is kept as marsh, and here 10 or more species of Odes were present including 50+ E. Amberwings, many Blue Dashers, Widow Skimmers, and a Roseate Skimmer. Decision Notes: None entered
