	Location Notes: Payne Ranch, Kenedy Co., Texas Specimen Notes: This Lestes was in grass on the edge of a large cattle pond. It was initially thought to be L. alacer, but later corrected to L. Australia by Abbott and Paulson. The Payne Ranch is in central Kenedy Co., a location where I was participating in a wildlife photo contest. Decision Notes: �

	Location Notes: Nueces River, ca 5 mi N of La Pryor, Zavala Co., Texas. Specimen Notes: Tony Gallucci and I found a B. mendax perched in riverside vegetation along the Nueces River just north of La Pryor, Zavala Co., Texas, on 2 September 2003. It was photographed from about 40 feet away in poor light so the image is cropped significantly. Decision Notes: �

	Location Notes: Norma Johnson Center, just outside of Dover, Ohio Specimen Notes: Two male specimens also taken. Specimens housed with Dr. John Abbott, University of Texas at Austin. I was visiting with a friend, Robert Schlabach, who lives in Sugarcreek, Ohio. We went to the Norma Johnson Center since he had seen some odonates there. This species was found at a very small pond on the edge of a woodland. Photos taken and two males collected. Since I am from Texas and was just passing through, the two specimens were turned over to Dr. Abbott. Photos are being submitted through Odonata Central for the benefit of Ohio information. I saw this luctuosa with three wings and thought it interesting so I got a photo as it perched at the edge of Lake Somerville. Later I realized the species is not recorded for Lee Co. 	Location Notes: Brush near Hornsby Bend, s.e. of Austin, Travis Co., Texas. Specimen Notes: This represents a new late date record for the species in Texas by 3 weeks. This A. longipes flew in front on my windshield and I recognized the species and saw that it was carrying prey. It landed and I was ale to get a few photos before it flew off. It was eating a Tramea lacerata. Decision Notes: �
