I saw this luctuosa with three wings and thought it interesting so I got a photo as it perched at the edge of Lake Somerville. Later I realized the species is not recorded for Lee Co. 	Location Notes: Norma Johnson Center, a small nature reserve on the edge of Dover, Ohio. Two small ponds were surveyed. Specimen Notes: Two specimens also taken. Specimens housed with Dr. John Abbott, University of Texas at Austin. I was visiting with a friend, Robert Schlabach, who lives in Sugarcreek, Ohio. We went to the Norma Johnson Center since he had seen some odonates there. This species was found at a very small pond on the edge of a woodland. Photos taken and two males collected. Since I am from Texas and was just passing through, the two specimens were turned over to Dr. Abbott. Photos are being submitted through Odonata Central for the benefit of Ohio information. Specimen Notes: Tony Gallucci and I found a B. mendax perched in riverside vegetation along the Nueces River just north of La Pryor, Zavala Co., Texas, on 2 September 2003.
