Instructions: Choose a species below to view its photos. There are two ways to choose a species. First, you can click the "+" next to a family name on the tree below to show the species beneath that family. Once the tree is expanded, simply click on the name of the species you want to view photos of. Alternatively, you can use the search box below to select a species. Searching for a species involves typing all or part of a species' scientific or common name into the search box. After a brief pause, a dropdown containing species matching your search term will appear. For instance, if you type "anax" into the search box below, a listing of all species within the genus Anax will be displayed. Simply click the name of a species in the dropdown and you will be taken to the photo page for that species. Entering "green", "juni", "Anax junius", or "nax j" will enable you to find the species Anax junius (Common Green Darner).
